Villa Angelica is a beautiful house for rent in Positano - on Italy's Amalfi Coast. Sleeping four, it has two bedrooms and two bathrooms.

With a spectacular view of the sea, the villa is located in Nocelle which is an area of Positano roughly 5km (3 miles) from the centre of town and 5km from the beach. There is a local bus (Flavio Gioia) to the centre of Positano every two hours. You can buy the ticket on board at €1 per person.

This is an ideal place to stay for anyone who desires a relaxing holiday in contact with nature. It's an area with only few tourists but at the same time who wants to be near the places of main tourist interest, such as Positano, Amalfi, Sorrento, Capri and Pompeii. From Nocelle it only takes 20 minutes to reach Positano; from there it is possible to take the bus to all the tourist destinations on the coast or you can take a ferry (and see the coast from the sea) or out to the island of Capri and the others in the Gulf of Naples.

The swimming pool is placed in a fantastic panoramic position (there are about 40 steps to reach the pool). It is built on a spur of the cliff, which seems to reach out for the sky and the sea. Standing on the solarium that surrounds the pool, you can admire a broad view of Positano, down to the beach and the sea.
From the garden you enter the living room, which also has a superb view of the sea. In the living room you will find a dining area and a sitting area with TV. The kitchen is big and is well equipped with cooker, an oven, a fridge/freezer. On the same floor as the living room there is a bedroom with a double bed and balcony which opens onto the terrace - so that the first thing - you will see when you wake up is the sky and the sea. There is also a bathroom with a shower. From the living room, a handful of steps lead down to a second bedroom with two queen-size beds and fireplace and one more bathroom with a shower and washing machine.

The house has satellite TV, radio and CD player, as well as appliances such as hair dryer and iron. Only 50 metres from the house you will find a good restaurant and grocery shop, where you can buy fresh milk and bread every morning. If you like hiking, from Villa Ideale you will be able to easily reach the famous trail along the ridge of the mountains that overlook the Amalfi Coast. For its extraordinary beauty, composed of precipices and breathtaking views, the trail is called the "Sentiero degli Dei": Path of the Gods.

Staying at Villa Angelica, you will enjoy a vacation in a natural environment of amazing beauty, and you will also have a base from which to visit Pompeii, Paestum, Naples and the Royal Palace of Caserta. You will be able to visit the famous beaches of the Amalfi Coast and the characteristic fashion and artisans' shops, as well as attend the many cultural and artistic happenings that take place throughout the year. Those who like nightlife will find that the Amalfi Coast has a lot to offer: from piano-bars to very exclusive night clubs.

The closest airport is Naples. Please note that the pool is in common with the upper villa (Angelico). There is a private garage available at €15 per day. Linen and towels provided, as well as a log fire.
