Villa Bruschetti - an ancient noble estate that is immersed in the peaceful countryside surrounding Empoli. A classical garden, part formal (Italian garden), part natural, complete with towering cypress trees, creates an elegant backdrop from which to admire the lush Florentine hills that surround Villa Bruschetti. This 19th-century nobleman's home offers an idyllic Tuscan setting, total privacy and an enviable location just 30 minutes from Florence.

Set on three levels, Villa Bruschetti is furnished with elegant antiques, decorative floors and elaborately frescoed ceilings. An impressive ornamental fireplace also adorns the dining room. From the house itself, and especially from the dining terrace, there are a marvellous views of the Florentine hills.

Empoli, with a supermarket, shops, and restaurants is a five minute drive away. In addition to Florence being only 30 minutes away, a 45 minute drive leads to San Gimignano. This strategic location is ideal for numerous day trips. Siena, Cortona, and Montepulciano, Cinque Terre in Liguria and Bologna in Emilia Romagna can all be reached within 90 minute drives.

Ground Floor: Living room with fireplace, TV and doors to the outside. Small living room. Dining room with ornamental fireplace. Kitchen with stove top, oven, two fridges, dishwasher, toaster oven and fireplace. Small dining room with phone and doors to the garden. Half bath with washing machine.

First Floor: Three bedrooms each with two single beds. One bedroom with a queen size bed. One bedroom with two single beds and en suite bathroom with tub. One bedroom with two single beds and en suite bathroom with hip tub. One bedroom with a full size bed and en suite bathroom with tub. Two bathrooms with tub. One bathroom with hip tub.

Second Floor: One bedroom with a queen size bed and en suite bathroom with hip tub.

With the exception of the 2nd floor bedroom and the kitchen (which are simpler and more rustic), the interiors are furnished with elegant antiques. Most of the rooms have very decorative floors, in colourful tile or patterned hardwood, and elaborately frescoed ceilings. The dining room also has an impressive ornamental fireplace.

The bedroom on the third floor is accessed by a narrow wooden staircase, and is smaller and more rustic than the others. Two rooms in the villa, one on the ground floor and one on the first floor, are not open for use. As elegant antiques require lots of attention, six hours of maid service per week is mandatory. Additional maid service or a cook can be reserved at the time of booking.

Heating is limited to eight hours per day. The swimming pool is aboveground. There is a Supermarket 5 minutes away in the direction of Empoli. Empoli centre, with shops, railway station, restaurants and all other necessities is 5 minutes away. Florence is only half an hour away, San Gimignano 45 Minutes, and Siena or Bologna 1.25 hours. Cortona, Montepulciano or Cinque Terre 1.5 hours. Please note that you need a car to stay at Villa Bruschetti.
