Farmhouse Il Castello is located in the hills between San Miniato and San Gimignano, in a beautiful and panoramic position. Six independent apartments have been created, the result of a careful restoration of a farmhouse below the main farm, where there are four other apartments.

The farm lies at the centre of an active agricultural estate that produces high quality wines and extra virgin olive oil. The owners will be more than happy to show guests the cellar and offer tastings of their products.

There are seven apartments, some with wonderful views overlooking the woods and some with spectacular views of the valley. They are all very well equipped with satellite TV, DVD, fans, hob, fridge/freezer, kettle, coffee maker, TV/phone monitor for electric gates. Each apartment also has a safety deposit box. There are free bicycles for guests. Just off the reception area (this was once a hayloft) they have a fully equipped gym free for guests. There is a further apartment in the castle itself: Apartment Castello.

Close to the apartments is an 11 x 5 metre swimming pool, and there's also a barbecue and sun terrace. Facilities include a laundry room and a private parking area. The apartments lie two kilometres from the nearest grocery shop, 30km from San Gimignano, approximately 45km from both Florence and Pisa, and 60km from Siena.


The following apartments sleep 4-5 people:

Three-room apartment Number One has an entrance from an equipped private garden, kitchen with a microwave and television, one double bedroom, one triple bedroom, and two bathrooms with showers.

Three-room apartment Number Two has an equipped private terrace, lounge and TV. There is a kitchen with a hob microwave and fridge-freezer. There is a double bedroom, a triple bedroom, and two bathrooms with showers.

Castello is situated in the castle itself, up a flight of steps on the first floor. Entrance is into the lounge/well-equipped kitchen area and the lounge has a double sofa bed. There is a double bedroom which has an open fireplace. A corridor leads to another twin-bedded room and the apartment has two bathrooms, both with showers. The apartment has its own furnished sitting-out area by the steps as well as its own covered terrace area.

The Deluxe apartments sleep 4-6:

Deluxe Number One has a private equipped terrace with superb views. There is a kitchen (oven, cooking hob, fridge/freezer), and a large living room with television. The flat has one double bedroom and a twin. There are two bathrooms with showers.

Deluxe Number Two has an entrance from a private garden. This apartment has superb views. There is a kitchen with a microwave and television, a double bedroom and a triple. There are two bathrooms with showers. The apartment also has a covered, furnished terrace.

Deluxe Number Three has superb views of the countryside. There is a private entrance from the garden into the living room and then a sitting room with two sofas and TV. There is a kitchen (oven, cooking hob, fridge/freezer), a double bedroom with a double bed and one single bed, plus a twin bedroom. There are two bathrooms with showers, and a covered, furnished terrace.

There is also a house sleeping six. With a covered, fully equipped loggia for dining on the ground floor and a lawned area in front of the apartment, this has three spacious double bedrooms. There are two bathrooms with showers, a kitchen/living area with a large open fireplace. (cooking hob, microwave, fridge/freezer) and satellite TV.
