A beautiful location for your holiday in Italy, the Podere Le Cavette farm sits in the hills of Chianti, in Tuscany, Italy. With three bedrooms, three bathrooms and a swimming pool, it makes a lovely base for your vacation in Tuscany.

In a spectacular position, just outside Impruneta, in the Chianti Classico Area, the farm is halfway between Florence (12km) and Greve in Chianti (12km). The town of Impruneta is famous worldwide for handworked pottery and its wine and olive oil. And there are many other interesting sights in Impruneta and the surrounding villages. Throughout the year there are festivals and cultural activities that encourage many to make the short journey from Florence.

And even with the city of Florence nearby, guests will find perfect peace here: ideal for enjoying an Italian holiday of complete relaxation. In the well-kept garden, abundant with greenery and flowers, lies a swimming pool with panoramic views over Florence on the one side and the Chianti region on the other.

There are three rooms with private bathroom with shower available. All the rooms can make use of a completely furnished kitchen (fridge, stove and so forth) and have colour TV, minibar and air conditioning. In the garden, as well as in front of the house, there is an outside space with table and chairs, great for al fresco dining during the summer.

And there are two recently, and completely, renovated bedrooms, each of which has a terrace and fine panoramic view.


Around the swimming pool, is a terrace with sun beds, and near to the pool is a garden pavilion. This is a perfect spot to sip a glass of Chianti, maybe while waiting for a delicious bistecca alla fiorentina to grill on the barbecue. The garden gives on to the stables and the paddock.

Podere Le Cavette is surrounded by vineyards and olive groves and has been worked since the 19th century. Three kilometres from the farm lies Impruneta, famous all over the world for centuries for the manufacturing of excellent terracotta. And the Chianti Classico has many renowned wineries and wine tastings, and charming towns like Greve, Radda or Gaiole in Chianti.

The whole year round, there are cultural events and festivals. The proximity to Florence makes it perfect for day trips, allowing you to discover its art to culture, wine shops and excellent restaurants. For those who love to play golf, a ten-minute drive takes you to the famous Ugolino course: the oldest golf course in Tuscany, and built in 1934 to a design by English architects Blandford and Gannon. Impruneta meets all your everyday needs, including shops, grocers, banks, post-office, pharmacies, and a tennis court.
