Very close to Florence and in a beautiful hillside location, this private rental is the ideal place for enjoying a holiday amidst nature alongside cultural days in the city. Villa Dori is a part of an old Tuscan villa, located just 10 kilometres from Florence, near the village of Lastra a Signa.

Villa Dori, lying within 9,000 square metres of private land covered with olive groves and vineyards, is a fine example of a typical Tuscan country house. Guests can enjoy a large, panoramic and private peaceful garden with its lovely private swimming pool, (9.50 x 4.60 metres), open from May until October. The garden is very well kept and is equipped for outdoor dining.

Nearby, the village of Lastra a Signa is a good shopping centre. It is about 1,5 km from the villa, and you’ll find a large supermarket just down the hill. Alternatively you can easily reach Florence by car, by bus or by train, for plenty of good restaurants, designer shops, cinemas, theatres ... and one or two other things!

For a large group or family this is an excellent choice, combining privacy with easy access to all the main points of interest in central Tuscany. Florence historical centre is just 10 kilometres away, Siena is 50K, Pisa 60K, Lucca 70K, Livorno 65K, San Gimignano 50K, and the seaside 60k.

There is a restaurant within walking distance at just 450 metres.

The Villa (220 square metres.) – sleeps 8.

The villa has its own independent entrance and has been completely restyled and furnished in typical Tuscan style, with cotto floors and accuracy in every detail. The house is on the first floor, easily reached by the wooden stairs placed in the spacious entrance hall.

The First Floor

Here there is the dining-room with a long table suitable for 8 people, the living-room with satellite TV and a lovely fireplace, two very large and bright double bedrooms, each with en-suite bathroom (modern bathrooms with shower), a twin-bedded room, and a third bathroom with shower.

There is a fully-equipped country style kitchen, fitted with dishwasher, washing machine, oven and fridge.

On request, a single bed-sofa in each double bedroom can be added, as well as two baby beds (suitable for children up to 4 years old), so that the villa can sleep up to 8 people + 2 small children.

The Villa is situated in the middle of a landscape of natural beauty, so guests can enjoy the incredible view on the lovely countryside from the fine garden, as well as from each window of the villa.

You have the possibility of playing golf at Club Le Pavoniere and Golf Club Ugolino (both eighteen hole). Horse-riding at 3 kilometres, fishing at 700 metres.

Utilities except for heating, weekly cleaning, garden and pool maintenance,weekly change of linens and towels are included in price.

Central heating costs and final cleaning (euro 60) are not included in the price.

Any additional service charges such as daily cleaning, extra weekly cleaning, extra laundry changes, etc., will be required to be paid on site.

Extra cleaning 12 euro/hour, extra change of linens 15 euro per bedroom. At the check-in, guests must leave a deposit for Euro 300. The deposit will be returned back at the check-out, unless damages are found.

Extra baby bed available for children up to 4 years old.
