A superb apartment complex close to Cortona, La villa degli Etruschi is an ideal destination for those wishing to spend their holidays in a typical Tuscan country setting.

It lies at the foot of the hills, just five miles from Cortona, and close to Arezzo, Siena, Perugia and Assisi. Within easy reach are Lake Trasimeno and the ancient towns of Montepulciano, Pienza and Montalcino. Each of these places is an ideal destination for a day trip.

Set amongst the gentle rolling hills of Valdichiana, Tuscany, with a direct view onto the town of Cortona the complex consists of four comfortable apartments. Each apartment is furnished with antique pieces and has a private garden space available, either covered or uncovered, right next to the courtyard. All spaces are furnished with tables and chairs and here guests may peacefully have their meals outdoors.

The pool (22 x 44ft) is open from May to the end of September, located in a commanding position overlooking the courtyard, and complete with showers and changing rooms; it's shared by all four apartments.

Each apartment has satellite TV, barbecue, washing machine and dishwasher, oven and fridge-freezer, and its own private entrance.

Apartment A has 4+2 beds and totals 70 sqm. This is a first floor apartment in the house in which the owners live, with an entrance via the external staircase and typical loggia, sitting/dining room with kitchenette, fireplace and double sofa bed, double bedroom, twin bedroom, bathroom with shower.

Apartment B (4+2 beds, 60sqm) is a ground floor apartment, sitting/dining room with kitchenette, double sofa bed, double bedroom, twin bedroom, bathroom with shower.

Apartment C (4+2 beds and 90sqm) is on two floors. On the ground floor is a sitting/dining room with kitchenette and fireplace, study with double sofa bed, bathroom with shower. The first floor has a double bedroom, twin bedroom, bathroom with shower.

Apartment D has 7+1 beds, totalling 100sqm, is air conditioned, on two levels with entrance from an external staircase. The first floor has a large living-dining room with fireplace, kitchenette and single sofa bed, double bedroom and bathroom with shower. The second floor has a double bedroom with additional single bed, twin bedroom and bathroom with shower.
