This is a fabulous villa for parties seeking a larger holiday home in Chianti – Villa Falciani sleeps 12, has six bedrooms and four bathrooms as well as a swimming pool.

A beautiful 18th century villa in Tuscany, Falciani is set on a large estate in the hills around the Etruscan village of Sinalunga. Surrounded by beautiful woodland and countryside, it sits alongside the owner’s villa and four apartments (known collectively as Relais Sinalunga).

Villa Falciani was originally a storage building, where lemon and orange trees were kept during the chilly winter months. Today it has been magnificently restored to become really lovely Tuscan holiday accommodation. It has its own garden with afountain, to which the large windows of the blissfully cool dining room (christened Limonaia) give direct access.

The kitchen has a big fireplace which can also be used as a grill, and there is ample cooking facilities, with a hob with 5+1 rings, an electric oven, dishwasher and fridge with freezer. The large living-room (18 x 6.5m) has arches, a big fireplace in the sitting room area, and a long table in the dining area.

The sleeping accommodation at Villa Falciani comprises two double bedrooms with four-poster bed, sitting-room and private bathroom; a double bedroom with private bathroom; a double bedroom with sitting room and private bathroom; two doubles which share a bathroom. All are elegantly furnished and have wonderful views.

This Chianti villa has its own private ‘small dip’ pool, in a quiet and secluded corner of the garden. The large swimming pool (14m x 7m), tennis courts and the magnificent parkland around are shared with the guests of the four apartments.

Many of Italy’s cultural treasures are close at hand – you have easy access via the motorway to both Florence to Rome. And this Chianti villa is an ideal base for exploring the treasures of both Tuscany and Umbria. Ask your hosts to help you plan itineraries: Siena, Perugia, Montepulciano, Pienza, and Cortona are within easy distance, promising plenty of fun and fascinating days out.

Sinalunga with all shops, facilities and restaurants is 2kms away, Montepulciano 17km, Pienza and Cortona 25km, Arezzo, Siena and Montalcino 40km and Perugia 50km. There is a golf course 9km away. And you are perfectly placed for the major airports, with Florence 90km away, Rome 185km, Pisa 190km and Bologna 190km.
