This apartment is set in the historical centre of Rome, on a small and lovely ancient square (as featured in many films) replete with a lovely fountain restored by Gian Lorenzo Bernini, one of the greatest sculptors and architects of the seventeenth century.

Teverino apartment is located within the palace of one of the four most respected noble families in Lazio, and dates back to 1600. The apartment can accommodate 7+2, but is probably most comfortable for a maximum of 6 people. The apartment enjoys an elevator, and has 2 small balconies overlooking the rooftops of Rome.

The property is a bi-level apartment, and has three separate mezzanine areas. The first, accessed by stairs (11 steps) from the living room, has a single bedroom with a balcony and a bathroom (with shower). Two separate staircases lead up from the main hallway to the other two mezzanine areas, one with a double bedroom and bathroom with shower, the other one with a double bedroom and a balcony with rooftop views.

This accommodation is not very suitable for tall guests as all the mezzanine areas have 6 foot ceilings! This charming apartment is perfect for a family with teenagers or young children, and is elegantly furnished and fully equipped with all comforts.

The entrance is onto the living/dining room, furnished with great quality and care. In one corner is the lovely semi-open kitchen, complete with dishwasher and washing machine. A hallway leads to the main-floor double bedroom and an adjacent bathroom (with tub and shower). A sofabed in the living room brings the maximum sleeping capacity of the apartment to 7+2 people.

This area is well served by public transportation (bus, tram, train, taxi), and the apartment enjoys one of the finest positions for sightseeing in Rome. It is near the Tiber River, Tiberina Island, and the Teatro di Marcello, and it's just a 5 minute walk to the Campo de' Fiori to pick up flowers, vegetables and spices at the morning open-air market.

Guests can stroll to the Campidoglio, Imperial Forum, Piazza Navona, the Pantheon, Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, or across the river to enchanting Trastevere, famous for its narrow streets and cozy restaurants. Restaurants and wine bars are within easy reach of this comfortable apartment.
