RENT THE ENTIRE FIRST FLOOR OF THIS
SPLENDID PALACE, SLEEPING 10 PEOPLE. LARGER GROUPS MAY USE TWO ADDITIONAL APARTMENTS
ON THE GROUND FLOOR, ALLOWING GROUPS OF UP TO 14 PEOPLE.
Immerse yourself in a dream whilst staying in this ancient Italian Palazzo.
Situated in northern Lazio, close to Orvieto in Umbria, the palazzo sits on
top of a high hill, forming part of the central square of an antique village
of 200 people, from where one can enjoy the stunning panorama of the surrounding
countryside. Time seems to have stopped in this small village, with its characteristic
piazza, onto which the entrance of the palazzo faces.
The owners, descendants from the noble family that built the palazzo, have recently
restored the building with excellent taste, respecting all of the historical
characteristics of the palazzo, from the carved wooden ceilings to the original
frescoes, particularly delightful in the dining room. The entrance hall is decorated
with antique arms and family emblems, reminding you of the glorious times of
the palazzo.
The palazzo is divided into three levels: the ground floor where two elegant
apartments have been renovated, both with an independent entrance; the first
floor or "Piano Nobile", given this name as the original noble family
lived here; the second floor - divided into seven apartments for rent. The apartments
on the upper floor are completely independent of the other accommodation. The
privacy of the Piano Nobile is guaranteed in regards to the other two levels,
as the very high ceilings and thick walls stop any noise penetrating from the
other floors.
Elegance and attention to detail can be found everywhere on the Piano Nobile,
due to the professional work of the owner's wife, a brilliant architect who
personally designed some of the décor. All of the baths are elegantly
restored and follow the style of the palazzo.
